I have been really struck by some documentaries about radical lifestyle changes from reversing heart attacks to major immune disorders. They consisted of going on 60-90 days straight vegetable juice diets. Really amazing stuff.
Netflix had two movies that I watched recently that really made an impression on me.
Movie 1: Sick, Fat and nearly Dead -documentary
